World of WarcraftPosted 3 years, 8 months ago on December 23, 2004I’ve been playing for 3 weeks now and it still has my attention. Overall this game was well designed. I especially enjoy the speed at which the game starts. It’s quite differant from what I’ve seen in other MMORPGs. If I had to compare this to another game, I would say its alot like everquest (pre-suck) but without the long zone loading times and with much better quests. WoW is very quest oriented as opposed to simply killing monsters for XP. My only negative comment is that I think the profession system in the game is almost worthless and adds little value. If you’re not playing already, go buy it and look me up. You can find my player info in the Games section. |

Posted 3 years, 7 months ago by Dru • @ • • ReplyI'm pretty new to WoW.. Yes, Im an X-mas N00b. However, I am quite impressed with the game so far. The way the quests are designed, and the terrain interacts with "placed" quest areas is really quite smooth. Also, the monster AI is pretty intelligent. Its not nearly as dumb as the "AI" in Galaxies. These monsters usually have a reason to stay where they are, and for some of them, if you run too far from their "homes" they will return and not chase you. I'm hooked! Come play!
